Maharashtra: This Candidate Is The Richest With Rs 3,383 Crore Net Worth, Has No Vehicle

The property of the BJP leader has increased by 575 per cent in the last five years. In the 2019 assembly elections, his property was Rs 550.62 crore.

Parag Shah Net Worth: The nomination process for Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 has been completed. Affidavits of all the candidates have been filed and the property details have also come out. With this, it has been learned that the richest candidate in Maharashtra is BJP's Parag Shah, who is contesting the elections from the Ghatkopar East Assembly seat. According to the election affidavit, his assets are worth Rs 3383.06 crore.

Surprisingly, the property of BJP candidate Parag Shah has increased by 575 per cent in the last five years. In the 2019 assembly elections, his property was Rs 550.62 crore.

Cash Worth More Than Rs 2 crore

In the affidavit, Parag Shah has informed that he and his wife have Rs 1.81 crore and Rs 1.30 crore in cash respectively. At the same time, Parag Shah has invested Rs 77,83,981 and his wife has an investment of more than Rs 8.65 crore in her name.

Liability Of Rs 43 crore

The affidavit submitted to the Election Commission stated that Parag Shah has a loan of more than Rs 43.29 crore. At the same time, his wife also has a debt of more than Rs 10.85 crore. It is also mentioned in the affidavit that Parag Shah does not have any vehicle.

Who Is Parag Shah?

Parag Shah is the current BJP MLA from the Ghatkopar seat. Shah is a real estate developer and his projects are spread across Gujarat and Chennai. In the 2017 BMC elections, he declared his assets worth Rs 690 crore. His wife Mansi also had assets worth crores which include commercial, residential and agricultural properties. He was also the richest candidate in the year 2019.

In the 2019 assembly elections, he declared assets worth more than Rs 500 crore. Along with this, it was revealed in the affidavit that he had movable assets worth Rs 422 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 78 crore that year.
