Maharashtra Assembly Results: Aaditya Thackeray Leads By 300 Votes In Worli, Milind Deora Trails As Per Early Trends
Thackeray is seeking a reelection from the seat. Elections to the 288-member Maharashtra assembly were held on November 20.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray is leading with nearly 300 votes in Mumbai's Worli assembly constituency. He is contesting against ruling Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha member Milind Deora. Thackeray is seeking a reelection from the seat. Deora joined the Sena before the Lok Sabha elections this year and was subsequently elected to the Rajya Sabha, where he has a six-year term left. He was with the Congress before the general elections.

In the 2019 Maharashtra assembly election, Aditya Thackeray polled over 69 per cent votes, defeating NCP's Suresh Mane. Aditya Thackeray's cousin and Raj Thackeray's son Amit Thackeray is also contesting the Maharashtra assembly election. Amit Thackeray was trailing, as per latest trends. The other candidates for this seat are Sandeep Sudhakar Deshpande from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Suresh Kumar Mishrilal Gautam from Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
In the 2024 Assembly elections, the Worli constituency had a total of 2,64,520 registered voters, including 1,44,501 males, 1,20,013 females, and 6 voters from the third gender.
In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were 2,69,003 registered voters, with 1,49,594 males, 1,19,407 females, and 2 from the third gender.
During the 2014 elections, the constituency had 2,65,091 registered voters, consisting of 1,49,067 males and 1,16,024 females.
