ABP-CVoter Exit Poll Results: Saffron Camp To Continue Its Winning Streak In Madhya Pradesh

The 2024 elections in Madhya Pradesh were marked by fierce competition and significant voter engagement. Here’s what the ABP News C-Voter Survey predicts for the state.

Madhya Pradesh saw intense campaigning in high-profile constituencies featuring key leaders. In Guna, the battle was fierce between BJP's Jyotiraditya Scindia and Congress's Rao Yadevendra Singh. Vidisha witnessed a prominent clash between Congress's Pratap Bhanu Sharma and BJP's Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Here’s what the ABP News C-Voter Survey predicts for the state:

Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha 2024 Elections

Between April 19 and May 13, 2024, the citizens of Madhya Pradesh exercised their democratic right in four phases to elect 29 members to the 18th Lok Sabha. According to data from the Election Commission, the state saw an average voter turnout of 65.58%. The highest turnout was recorded in the Neemuch Malwa region during Phase 4, where 71% of voters cast their ballots. In contrast, Phase 2, which included Banghelkhand and Bundelkhand seats, saw the lowest turnout at 58.59%.

Madhya Pradesh featured several high-profile constituencies with notable political figures. In Guna, Jyotiraditya Scindia of the BJP faced Congress's Rao Yadavendra Singh, making it one of the state's key battlegrounds. Vidisha witnessed a prominent contest between Congress's Pratap Bhanu Sharma and BJP's Shivraj Singh Chouhan. 

In Rajgarh, veteran Congress leader Digvijaya Singh contested against two-term sitting BJP MP Rodmal Nagar. In Chhindwara, Nakul Nath, son of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, competed against BJP's Vivek Bunty Sahu. 

Several constituencies experienced particularly tough fights. In Sidhi, BJP's district in-charge Dr Rajesh Mishra went up against Congress's Kamleshwar Patel. In Satna, BJP's four-time sitting MP Ganesh Singh faced Congress's sitting MLA Siddharth Shukla Kushwaha. 

In Mandla, Union Minister and six-term MP Faggan Singh Kulaste of the BJP competed against Congress's Dindori MLA Omkar Singh Markam. Gwalior saw a contest between BJP's Bharat Singh Kushwaha and Congress's Praveen Pathak.
