"When I look at the youths, I feel worried. They are the future of this state. If their future is in the dark, so is the future of our state. I want to tell you that your future is in your hands. The election which is going to be held on November 17, is not about a candidate or a party, rather it belongs to the future of Madhya Pradesh," he added.
Further, while slamming the union goverenment, the Congress leader said: "Our country is loaded with diversity. Our culture is based upon 'amicable relationships'. But the culture is now being attacked. Look at Manipur, what happened there? Our culture is endangered."
Meanwhile, speaking about SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and seat sharing, State Congress president Kamal Nath told reporters: "We did hold talks, we made all efforts but our people were not ready. Because the question was not about 'how many seats' but 'which seats'. I had to bring everyone and my organisation on board. We were not able to convince our people for the seats they (SP) wanted."

Madhya Pradesh is one of five Indian states holding elections this year. The state will vote on November 17, with the vote count slated on December 3.
Voters will select representatives from among the 230 Assembly constituencies.
The Kamal Nath administration fell apart in March 2021, when 22 incumbent Congress MLAs resigned and joined the BJP under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia. Following that, the BJP formed the state government, with Shivraj Singh Chouhan entering office as Chief Minister.
