'Can't Return To Power Even In Your Dreams': Amit Shah Slams Congress At Rally In MP's Mandla
Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public rally in Madhya Pradesh's Mandla today and stated that Congress will never return to power.
As the nation prepares to elect its next representative in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections slated to begin on April 19, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday addressed an election rally in Madhya Pradesh's Mandla. During the rally he launched scathing attacks at Congress and claimed that the party will never return to power.
"...Even today Congress asks what was the need for abrogation of Article 370 in J&K. I want to tell them that even in your dreams you can't return to power," he stated.
Shah, while claiming that PM Modi made Madhya Pradesh free of naxalism said, "If ever you come back to power, don't touch Article 370...Modi ji made Madhya Pradesh free of naxalism."
The Union Home minister also criticised the grand old party for doing nothing when India was attacked by "people from Pakistan".
"During Congress government, people from Pakistan used to enter the country and carry out bomb blasts, but Manmohan Singh never said a thing. After Uri & Pulwama attacks in India, within 10 days we entered Pakistan and carried out surgical and air strikes there," Shah stated.
