'I Don't Care, We're Going With Positive Thoughts': RLD's Jayant Chaudhary On PM Modi's 'Ladke' Comment

Taking a swipe at Jayant Chaudhary and Akhilesh Yadav, PM had said, “We saw the game of ‘do ladke’ (two boys) earlier too.”

Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary has retaliated on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'do ladke' (two boys) comment. Chaudhary said that he "doesn't care" and they are "going ahead with hopeful & positive thought".

PM Modi had also accused opposition parties of being arrogant in an interview with ANI.

"You can call me 'baccha'   (kid) or 'ladka' (boy), I don't care. We're going ahead with hopeful & positive thoughts. We want to promote positive politics. Akhilesh & I want to work on the issues of employment, agriculture, much needed industrialization in western UP," Jayant Chaudhary told ANI.

Taking a swipe at Jayant Chaudhary and Akhilesh Yadav, PM had said, “We saw the game of ‘do ladke’ (two boys) earlier too.”

“They had such arrogance that they used the words ‘Gujarat ke do gadhe’ (two donkeys of Gujarat). Then, the people of UP taught them a lesson. Another time there were ‘two boys’ & a ‘bua ji’ with them. Still, it didn’t work out for them.

Meanwhile, the first phase of the Uttar Pradesh election begins today. 58 seats of 11 districts in UP go to polls on Thursday. RLD is one of the strong parties along with BJP and the Samajwadi Party (SP) in the western UP belt.

The results would be announced on March 10, 2022.
