Gujarat Poll Results 2022: CR Patil and Bhupendra Patel thank people and party workers for massive win.

Gujarat Election Results: State BJP Chief CR Patil on Wednesday said that people trusted their favourite politician PM Narendra Modi and gave a landslide victory to the party. He was addressing the media after official numbers confirmed the party’s reign in the state. BJP is near to claiming around 160 seats breaking all previous records.

Thanking PM Modi and CM Bhupendra Patel, Patil said, “This record win is Gujarat's win. It is a result of BJP's 27 years of positive and hard work in the state.”

“We worked on good governance, and development, and hence people trusted our party,” he said adding that CM Bhupendra Patel is implementing PM Modi’s vision in the state.

Thanking party workers for their hard work and effort, Patil said, “Campaigning for the party is a memorable experience for a worker....our workers worked with enthusiasm throughout the election campaign, and I am happy to see that.”

“People know that only Narendra Modi-lead double engine government can develop Gujarat,” he added.

The BJP MP also thanked farmers, women, youth, and other sections of the society for trusting his party and said, “Keep trusting us and we will ensure to follow the tradition of service to people of the state.”

He took a jibe at the AAP and Congress without naming the parties and said, “People gave in writing that they will form a government, some said ‘Parivartan’ will happen.”

“People rejected anti-national people and chose us to form the government again,” he added.

He said, “It is our responsibility to keep your trust in us intact.”

CR Patil informed that the swearing-in ceremony will take place on December 12 at 2 PM which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that BJP made three records with the poll victory “Record number of seats ever”, “Maximum vote share percentage by a party ever in the state,” and “maximum candidates winning with a record margin of votes”.

He also thanked the media and credited them for being a bridge of conversation between them and the people of the state.

BJP CM Candidate Bhupendra Patel also addressed the media after Patil and said he humbly accepts the verdict of the people.
