Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Date: The dates for the Delhi Assembly election 2025 will be announced at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 7. The elections in Delhi are likely to be held in a single phase. The voting for the Delhi elections could be held on February 6, while the results could be announced on February 8, said sources.

This could be the last poll that Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar would oversee and organise. Kumar is set to retire on February 18. Thus, it is believed that the Delhi elections will be held before his retirement. His successor will get ample time to prepare for the Bihar Assembly elections to be held later this year.

The announcement will be held at the Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan.

The Aam Aadmi Party won a landslide victory in the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections. AAP won 62 out of 70 seats here, while the BJP won only eight seats. On the other hand, the Congress was completely wiped out in the last election. Not a single Congress candidate could win.
