Delhi Assembly Election 2024: AAP Readies Blueprint To Woo Women Voters

In preparation for the Delhi elections, AAP plans to engage women voters through a micromanagement strategy by distributing party messages via its 5,000-strong women's wing.

In view of the Delhi assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party has prepared a micromanagement strategy for gaining the support of women voters. As part of the plan, the AAP will reach out to the women of Delhi and apprise them of the Arvind Kejriwal government's works in the last five years. The AAP's message will be dispersed by the party's women's wing comprising 5,000 workers.

The women's wing of the Aam Aadmi Party will organise small meetings in all 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi. At these meetings, the party workers in groups of 8 will directly communicate with women voters. Every group will establish with at least 10 women voters.

In this way, each group can establish contact with at least 40 women with four meetings per day. In the meeting, the voters shall be informed about Kejriwal's work and the benefits his government provided to women. The AAP workers will also compare Kejriwal's initiatives with those available in BJP-ruled states.

The groups would also convey the feedback of citizens to the AAP leadership. The AAP top brass believes that if the results of 2015 and 2020 are to be repeated, the support of women is crucial. For this, the women's wing workers will go to every locality and street in Delhi.

Among the schemes being highlighted at the meetings are those of free electricity, water, and travel in buses. The AAP government's work in the field of education will be the key focus at these meetings.

In a novel method, the women voters will be encouraged to contact their friends and relatives in other states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana to get information about the electricity rates and the condition of hospitals and schools there.
