'Country Has Decided Modi Will Be PM Again', Says Amit Shah. Sharpens 'Dynastic Politics' Attack On Oppn

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said the country has decided that PM Modi will be the prime minister again, as he addressed the BJP's National Convention in Delhi.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said the country has decided that PM Modi will be the prime minister of the country again and there is no doubt about this among the citizens as he addressed the BJP's National Convention in Delhi ahead of the party's meeting on the Lok Sabha election preparation. He also sharpened his attack on the Opposition saying while PM Modi aims at a self-reliant India, opposition leaders were interested in 'grabbing power for their family."

He said, "The country has decided that PM Modi will again become the PM of the country, there is no doubt about it."

Hailing the prime minister's work, he said, "In 75 years, this country has seen 17 Lok Sabha elections, 22 governments and 15 Prime Ministers. Every government in the country has tried to bring development as per its own time. But today I can say without any confusion that the work of overall development, development of every sector and development of every individual has been done only in the 10 years of PM Narendra Modi..."

"Modi ji has freed the country from corruption, appeasement, casteism, dynasticism, among others. Modi ji established the 'Politics of Performance'. Modi ji is slowly freeing us from the colonial mindset by removing the national symbols affiliated with British rule. This should have been done immediately after independence, yet the Congress never bothered to do it.," he added.

Hitting out the the I.N.D.I.A alliance and the Congress, he said, "For the first time, PM Modi called for liberating the country from the symbols of slavery. This should have started on the second day of independence, but as long as Congress and the people of the INDI alliance were in power, they did not even imagine liberating the country from the symbols of slavery...I want to tell the people of the country that in Modi 3, this country will free itself from terrorism, extremism and Naxalism and move towards becoming a peaceful and prosperous India."

Upping his attack on dynastic politics, he said, "What is their (I.N.D.I.A alliance) objective in politics? PM Modi aims at self-reliant India. Sonia Gandhi's aim is to make Rahul Gandhi the PM , Pawar Saheb's aim is to make his daughter the CM, Mamata Banerjee's aim is to make her nephew the CM, Stalin's aim is to make his son the CM, Lalu Yadav's aim is to make his son the CM, Uddhav Thackeray's aim is to make his son the CM and Mulayam Singh Yadav ensured that his son becomes the CM. Those who aim to grab power for their family, will they ever think of the welfare of the poor?"

"Congress and the I.N.D.I. Alliance tried to use Dalits, Adivasis, and the backward classes as their vote bank, but for the first time, these communities were given their due by the BJP government," he said.

Setting the tone for the Lok Sabha and the BJP's agenda, Shah said, "Terrorism, naxalism nearing end, country will be free of them in Modi government 3.0."

Drawing a comparison with the Mahabharat war, Shah said. "PM Modi was leading one group and Cong was leading family-run parties known for graft, appeasement."

Elaborating on the BJP's big huddle ahead of the mega elections, Shah said, "The national council meeting is being organised ahead of the (2024 Lok Sabha) elections. Following this national council meeting, we will go to every constituency with PM Modi's message of how India will look by 2047."
