Congress Releases List Of 38 Candidates For Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections

The state will conduct the polls on May 13, 2024. The results of the state elections along with the Lok Sabha polls is slated to be announced on June 4, 2024. 

Congress on Monday released the list of 38 candidates for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, scheduled to be held in May 2024. There are a total of 175 constituencies in the state assembly polls. 

Congress Candidates List

  1. Srikakulam: Ambati Krishna Rao (Replacing Padi Nagabushan Rao)
  2. Bobbili: Maripi Vidyasagar
  3. Gajapathinagaram: Dola Srinivas (Replacing Gadapu Kurminaidu)
  4. Nellimarla: Saragada Ramesh Kumar
  5. Vishkhapatnam North: Lakkaraju Rama Rao
  6. Chodavaram: Jagath Srinivas
  7. Elamanchili: Tar Narsing Rao
  8. Gannavaram (SC): Kondeti Chittibabu
  9. Achanta: Nekkanti Venkata Satyanarayana
  10. Vijayawada East: Sunkara Padmasree
  11. Jaggayyapeta: Karnati Apparao
  12. Tadikonda - SC: Manichala Sushil Raja (Replacing Chilaka Vijay Kumar)
  13. Repalle: Mopidevi Srinivas Rao
  14. Tenali: SK Basheed
  15. Guntur West: Dr. Rajachakonda John Babu
  16. Chirala: Amanchi Krishna Mohan
  17. Ongole: Turakapalli Nagalakshmi (Replacing Butti Ramesh Babu @ BR Gouse)
  18. Kanigiri : Devarapalli Subbareddy (Replacing Ms. Kadiri Bhavani)
  19. Kavali: (No change mentioned)
  20. Kovur: Podalakuri Kalyan Narapareddy Kirankumar Reddy (Replacing Nebrambaka Mohan)
  21. Sarvepalli: P.V. Srikanth Reddy (Replacing Poola Chendrashekar)

Earlier on Sunday, Congress released a list of candidates for nine Andhra Pradesh seats and 2 Jharkhand seats for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Andhra Pradesh has a total of 25 Lok Sabha seats, while Jharkhand has 14 Lok Sabha seats.

The grand old party has fielded Pedada Parameswararao from Srikakulam, Bobbili Srinu from Bobbili Srinu, Janga Goutham from Amalapuram-SC and Gollu Krishna from Machilipatnam. The other candidates are Valluru Bhargav from Vijaya Awada, Eda Sudhakara Reddy from Ongole, Jangiti Lakshmi Narasimha Yadav from Nandyal, Mallikarjun Vajjala from Anantapur, BA Samad Shaheen from Hindupur.
