Balakot air strikes would have been more effective if IAF was equipped with Rafale jets: Gadkari

He further said that “The work done in 5 years under Modi government's regime is more than what was accomplished during the Congress rule in the past 50 years”.

New Delhi: As the Lok Sabha elections are underway, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari joined the speaker’s panel at ABP News Shikhar Sammelan and falsified all the allegations by Congress on Rafale jet deal with France and said Congress doesn’t respect SC’s verdict as well. Gadkari in fact said the air strikes by Indian Army at Balakot in Pakistan, which came after deadly Pulwama attack, would have been more effective if they were done using Rafale jets. “Strikes would have been more effective and potent if IAF would have been equipped with Rafale fighter jets as a part of armoury” Gadkari said. Hitting out at Opposition, Gadkari said “PM is abused on daily basis; we should not stoop to such low level of politics and maintain PM’s dignity”. “The UPA government turned a blind eye to defence and national security” he added. He further said that “The work done in 5 years under Modi government's regime is more than what was accomplished during the Congress rule in the past 50 years”. “Massive work is underway for cleaning up Yamuna along the banks of Mathura, Agra and Etawah” he said. The Union Minister further claimed that “BJP will get clear mandate, party will get 73 seats in UP”.
