UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2020 Result Declared, Main On January 8; Here's How To Check Your Scorecard

Those who have passed the UPSC Preliminary exam will now have to fill the 'Detailed Application Form-I' or 'DAF-I to appear' for the Civil Services Main exam.

UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2020: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday announced the results of the much-awaited Civil Services Examination (CSE) preliminary round on its official website - upsc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam held on 4 October can check their score on the official website or at  upsconline.nic.in. ALSO READ | AP EAMCET 2020: Counselling Begins Today, Here’s What You Have To Keep In Mind The examination of Civil Services Examination (CSE) preliminary round were held amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic on October 4 and candidates who appeared for the same can log on to the websites mentioned above to check their results. Those who have passed the UPSC Preliminary exam will now have to fill the 'Detailed Application Form-I' or 'DAF-I to appear' for the Civil Services Main exam. "On the basis of the result of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 held on 04/10/2020, the candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020," a notification issued by the government was quoted as saying by several media reports. "Candidates are also informed that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of screening test held through CS (P) Examination, 2020 will be uploaded on the Commission’s website i.e. https://upsc.gov.in only after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination, 2020 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result," it added. UPSC Preliminary Result 20202: Steps to check your scorecard Step 1: Log on to official website of Union Public Service Commission — upsc.gov.in Step 2: On the home page, select 'result' link and enter details as required Step 3: On the next page, your scorecard will open Step 4: Confirm credentials like your roll number, date of birth etc. Step 5: Take a print out of your scorecard for future reference As per the information available, only the roll numbers of those who have qualified the prelims exam will appear in the list on the UPSC website while checking results. Selected candidates will be eligible to write the Mains exam, which is likely to be held on 8 January 2021.
