UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2019: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is scheduled to release the detailed notification for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Assistant Commandants Examination 2019 today i.e. on 24th April 2019 on its official website – upsc.gov.in. The Commission had released a short notice for Assistant Commandant posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in the Employment News for 27th April 2019 – 3rd May 2019. As per the notice, the online application process for the CAPF Recruitment Exam 2019 will be held online on upsconline.nic.in. The registration for the same is expected to begin today itself once the detailed notification citing the eligibility criteria, syllabus and scheme of the CAPF Examination 2019 and other details is released by the UPSC. UPSC will be organizing the CAPF Assistant Commandants Examination 2019 on Sunday, 18th August 2019 across the country. Candidates will be selected for various arms of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) viz Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2019 - Important Dates: Release of official notification – 24th April 2019 Start date of online registration – 24th April 2019 (Tentative) Last date of online registration – 20th May 2019 Date of Examination – 18th August 2019 UPSC CAPF 2019 Result – September 2019 (Tentative) UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2019 - Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be a Graduate from a recognized university or institution, in order to apply for the CAPF Assistant Commandants Examination 2019. Interested candidates must wait for the official notification to know more details on the physical standards requirement. UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2019 - Vacancy Details: In 2018, UPSC had notified a total of 378 vacancies for the post of CAPF Assistant Commandants. The detailed notification of UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2019 will include details of number of vacancies for various forces that come under the purview of CAPF. UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2019 - Selection Process: The selection process will include a Written Examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Examination, followed by Interview or Personality Test (PT).
