UGC NET June 2024 Registration: The National Testing Agency, NTA has extended the UGC NET June 2024 Registration process for the second time. As per the notice, now the last date to apply for the UGC NET June 2024 exam is May 20, 2024. Interested candidates can participate in the registration process on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. To complete the UGC NET application 2024, candidates are required to pay the application fees according to their categories. The UR candidates have to pay INR 1,150, candidates belonging to the OBC category have to pay INR 600, whereas the SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates are required to pay INR 325. 

“Regarding submission of online application form for UGC – NET June 2024 for (i) ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and (iii) ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in Indian universities and colleges. NTA decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for UGC – NET June 2024, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply,” the official notification reads.

Candidates can follow the below-given steps to apply for the UGC NET June 2024 exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the link that reads 'UGC NET June 2024 Registration'.

Step 3: Click on the registration link.

Step 4: Enter the required details.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents.

Step 6: Pay the required application fee for UGC NET June 2024 Registration.

Step 7: Click on 'Submit'.

Step 8: Download the confirmation page for your future reference.

UGC NET June 2024 Exam Schedule

Earlier, the UGC NET exam was scheduled to take place on June 16, 2024, but it was later postponed to June 18, 2024. This year, the National Testing Agency is offering 83 subjects.
