UGC NET Exam 2021: Application Correction Window Opens At Ugcnet.Nta.Nic.In; Check Steps To Make Changes

UGC NET Exam 2021: Candidates should note that the application correction window for the May session would remain open active till March 16.

New Delhi: Those who want to make any changes in the application form for UGC NET 2021 exam can do it now. National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window of the UGC NET 2021 exam from Friday. You have to visit the official site of NTA UGC on ugcnet.nta.nic.in and follow the process to make any changes.

What is the last date to make changes?

The application process for the UGC NET 2021 exam started on February 2. The application correction window for the May session would remain open active till March 16, 2021 till 11.50 PM.

According to the official notice, registered candidates for the examination are advised to visit the website and check their particulars carefully. All candidates are suggested to make corrections in the information provided if any in the registration form, wherever incorrect or incomplete. After the above mentioned date, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. Candidates who want to make changes can follow these simple steps given below.

Here is how to make changes in the application form 

  1. Firstly, visit the official site of NTA UGC on ugcnet.nta.nic.in
  2. Then click on the application correction window link on the home page. You can check the direct link here.
  3. In the next step candidates have to enter the login details and application would open.
  4. Then make the necessary changes in the application form.
  5. Click on the submit button and the changes will be saved.
  6. Download the page and keep a hard copy of the same for further perusal.

Note that the candidates will have to pay an additional fee for the correction if applicable. This shall be paid by the candidate either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM Wallet generated during the online correction.

The correction facility is only available for those who have already successfully submitted the application form along with the requisite fee on or before March 10, 2021.

The UGC NET 2021 exam will be conducted on May 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 17, 2021. The selection of the candidates is completely based on their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET 2021. Those who are qualifying only for the Assistant Professorship are not to be considered for the awarding of Junior Research Fellowship.
