The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the NEET UG 2023 Notification soon this month on the official NTA NEET website - neet.nta.nic.in. Soon after the notification release, the NTA is expected to start the NEET UG 2023 Application Process soon. As announced by the NTA earlier, the NTA NEET UG 2023 Examination will be held on May 7, 2023. The NEET 2023 is the single-largest medical entrance exam in the country.

While the NTA is yet to make an official comment on the NEET UG 2023 Application Process, a close look at the previous years’ NEET Application trends, does hint at the tentative NEET UG 2023 Application Timeline. The NEET 2022 Exam was scheduled to be held on July 17, where the online registration process for the same began on April 6. Generally, the NEET Application Process begins around three before the NEET Exam. 

In December 2022, the National testing Agency announced that it will conduct the NEET 2023 Exam on May 7, 2023. The NTA announced the reserved dates following suggestions and feedback from the expert committee set up by the government on the matter. Considering the possibility of several national-level entrance exams clashing with Board Exams 2023, the committee carved out a schedule for the conduct of NEET 2023, JEE Main 2023, and CUET 2023 Exam to prevent these exams from clashing with Board Exams 2023. 

Once the NEET UG 2023 Application Process starts, interested candidates will be able to submit their registration cum application forms online on the official websites - nta.ac.in, or neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG Exam draws over 16 lakh applications every year since its inception. Last year, a total of 18,72,341 applicants registered for the NEET UG 2022 Exam.
