ICG Recruitment 2023: Application Begins For 255 Navik Posts, Here's How To Apply

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment: Interested candidates can apply online through joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.

Indian Coast Guard has started the application process for the post of Navik (General Duty and Domestic Branch) today, February 6. This recruitment drive aims to fill 255 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. Online applications are invited from Male Indian citizens possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below:

Vacancy Details:

Navik (General Duty)- 225

Navik (Domestic Branch)- 30

Educational Qualification:

Navik (General Duty)- 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE). 

Navik (Domestic Branch)- Class 10 passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Age Limit:

The age limit for this recruitment is minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years. Candidates should born between 01 Sep 2001 to 31 Aug 2005. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and physical fitness test. Based on the performance in the computer-based online examination, candidates will be shortlisted for the second stage which is the physical fitness test. Those who qualify for the second stage will have to go through the document verification and final medical examination. The final selection will be based on the merit list prepared considering all stages of examination after the submission of original documents and police verification.

Application Fee:

Candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 300/- through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/Master/Maestro/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI.

  • Visit the official website of the Indian Coast Guard at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.
  • Click on the ‘Join ICG as Enrolled Personnel (CGEPT)’ tab.
  • Now click on the registration link.
  • Enter the required details in the application form.
  • Upload the documents.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
  • Take a printout of the confirmation page for further needs.
