MPPSC SET 2024 Registration Begins; Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has begun registration for the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website at mppsc.mp.gov.in. The deadline for submitting the application form is April 20. Candidates have the opportunity to make corrections in their applications from March 22 to April 22. The MP SET 2024 is a state-level written exam to qualify candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The exam will be held for 36 subjects. The exam date will be released later on the official website. The MP SET will comprise two Papers: i) General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude, and ii) Selected subject. Paper 1 will have a duration of 1 hour and will be worth 100 marks. Paper 2 will have a duration of 2 hours and will be worth 200 marks.

- MP SET 2024 application begins: March 21
- Last date to apply for MP SET exam: April 20
- Correction window opens: March 27 to April 22
- Application form 1 with late fee (Rs 3000 + Rs 40 portal fee): April 21 to April 30
- Application form 1 correction window (Rs 50 per session): April 22 to May 2
- Application form 2 with late fee (Rs 25000 + Rs 40 portal fee): May 1 – 10 days before the exam
- Application form 2 correction window( Rs 50 Per session): May 2 to 10 days before the exam
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in related subject with 55% marks.
Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for the MP SET.
MPPSC SET 2024 Registration Fees
The examination fee structure is as follows:
- For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, and Disabled category native candidates of Madhya Pradesh, the examination fee is Rs 250.
- For candidates from other categories and those who are residents outside of Madhya Pradesh, the application fee is Rs 500.

- Visit the official website mppsc.mp.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on ‘Apply Online.’
- Click on the link next to ‘Advertisement for State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024 (Advt. No. 01/SET/Exam/2024), Dated 15/03/2024.’
- Register yourself on the portal and proceed with the application process.
- Select SET 2024, fill out the form with the required details, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
- After successful submission, download a copy of the filled application form and take a printout for future reference.
