RTE Quota Ensures Equitable Access

In line with the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, 25% of seats are reserved for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Students admitted under this quota will not be required to pay any fees. Furthermore, those who secure admission under RTE in Class 1 will continue to receive fee exemptions and concessions up to Class 8, ensuring sustained educational support.

Parents are encouraged to stay updated on the official KVS website for detailed region-wise lottery schedules and results. The admission process follows a structured approach to maintain fairness. The selection process prioritises:

1. RTE Quota – 25% of seats are allocated to eligible students.
2. Service Priority Categories I & II – Seats are then allotted based on priority categories.
3. Filling Vacant Seats – If any quota remains unfilled, the seats are distributed accordingly.
