KCET Counselling 2025 Begins: Eligible candidates can now fill in and prioritise their preferred colleges and courses using the activated option entry link.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially started the KCET 2025 counselling process, with the option entry portal now live and the final seat matrix published on its official website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Eligible candidates can now fill in and prioritise their preferred colleges and courses using the activated option entry link. Alongside this, KEA has released the final seat matrix, offering a comprehensive breakdown of seat availability across participating institutes. Earlier, a provisional seat matrix had been shared to help candidates plan ahead.

Before the option entry window opened, KEA allowed candidates to edit their applications and download verification slips. The last date for edits was July 4, 2025. Only those who completed this step and generated their verification slips are eligible to participate in the current counselling round.

Steps to Fill KCET 2025 Options

Candidates must follow these steps for option entry:

Visit the KEA website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

Log in using CET number and password

Download the verification slip (if not already done)

View the final seat matrix

Click the option entry link to select and rank courses and colleges

Wait for the mock and real allotment rounds

Follow further instructions for fee payment and admission confirmation

Candidates are advised to regularly check KEA's official website for the latest updates on the KCET 2025 counselling schedule, allotment results, and admission formalities.
