JNVST 2025 Class 6 Registration Ends Today; Steps to Apply On navodaya.gov.in

JNVST 2025 Class 6 Registration: Students and their parents can fill the application form on the official website at navodaya.gov.in.

The registration window for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025 will close today, October 7. Those who want admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya can apply for the entrance test through the official website at navodaya.gov.in. The selection test for Class 6 admissions in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas for the 2025-26 academic session is scheduled to take place on April 12 and 18. The selection test will be conducted for a duration of two hours, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

According to the eligibility criteria, students currently enrolled in Class 5 can apply for admission only in the district where they are studying. Additionally, the candidate’s date of birth must fall between May 1, 2023, and July 31, 2015.

JNVST 2025: Eligibility for Class 6

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must be currently studying in Class 5 in the same district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) they are applying to is located. Only residents of the district who are enrolled in Class 5 in that district are eligible for admission through the JNVST, as per the official notice.

Age Limit:
Candidates must be born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015.

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: Steps to Apply

Students can apply online by following the simple steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official NVS website at navodaya.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link, 'Submit online application form for Class VI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2025.'

Step 3: Select 'Registration for Class VI JNVST (2025-26).'

Step 4: Fill in the required details in the application form.

Step 5: Pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

JNVST 2025 Exam Pattern

  • Mental Ability Test: 40 questions, 50 marks, 60 minutes
  • Arithmetic Test: 20 questions, 25 marks, 30 minutes
  • Language Test: 20 questions, 25 marks, 30 minutes
  • Total: 80 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours

As of September 23, 2024, there are 653 Vidyalayas functioning across 27 states and 8 Union Territories. According to the official prospectus, each Vidyalaya admits up to 80 students into Class VI through a selection test, provided there are enough qualified candidates.
