JEE-Main Exam 2022 Date Released By NTA. First Phase To Be Held In April, Second In May — Know Dates

JEE-Main Exam 2022 Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) officials on Tuesday informed about the dates of both the phases. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main consists of two papers.

JEE-Main Exam 2022 Date: The first phase of JEE-Main which is the entrance exam for admission to engineering, has been scheduled for April and the second phase is scheduled in May. This was stated by the National Testing Agency (NTA) officials on Tuesday. Officials said the first phase of JEE-Main has been scheduled for April 16 to 21 and the second phase from May 24 to 29.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main consists of two papers. Under this, the first paper is for admission to BE and B.Tech graduate engineering programmes in NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions and institutes and universities recognized by participating state governments.

It is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced which is conducted for admission to IITs. The second paper is for admission to Bachelor in architecture and graduate courses in planning.

"The applications for JEE-Main 2022 will start from today, March 1 and the last date for filling up of JEE Main 2022 application forms for the first session is March 31, 2022. Apart from Hindi, English, and Gujarati, the exam will be conducted in Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu."

Last year, the NEET-UG exam was held on September 12 in which more than 95 percent of registered students appeared for the medical entrance exam.
