JEE Main April 2019 exam dates revised due to General Elections; Test to wrap by April 12

As per the official notification released on jeemain.nic.in, the NTA has rescheduled the JEE Main April 2019 entrance exam from 7th to 20th April 2019 earlier, to 7th to 12th April 2019.

JEE Main April 2019 exam dates have been revised by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the wake of General Elections 2019. As per the official notification released on jeemain.nic.in, the NTA has rescheduled the JEE Main April 2019 entrance exam from 7^th to 20^th April 2019 earlier, to 7^th to 12^th April 2019. “It had been announced through the Information Bulletin of JEE (Main) April 2019 that this Examination will be conducted between 07.04.2019 and 20.04.2019. Now, Election Commission of India has declared the dates for General Election on  11th, 18th, 23rd and 29th April 2019 as well as on 6th, 12th and 19th May 2019,” read the notification. The new dates for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2019 Second Attempt i.e. April exams are: Paper-2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) – 7^th April 2019 Paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech) - 8th, 9th, 10th and 12th April 2019 Thereby candidates bracing for the JEE Main April 2019 examination must prepare themselves accordingly. Also, the admit cards for the national level engineering and architecture entrance exam will be released by the NTA on 20^th March 2019, next week. Candidates will be able to get the details of date, time and venue of JEE Main 2019 April exam allotted to them from their Admit Card. NTA has not announced any changes to the JEE Main 2019 result date, hence, exam participants can expect the result for Paper-I to be declared on 30^th April 2019 as per the original plan of events, and the result of B.Arch Paper-II on 15^th April 2019.
