JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam Begins Tomorrow; Check Exam Day Guidelines

JEE Main Session 2 exams will be conducted in two shifts, first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm, while the second shift is scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2024 Session 2: The National Testing Agency is all set to begin the JEE Main Session 2 exams tomorrow, April 4, 2024. According to the official schedule, the JEE Main 2024 session 2 exams will conclude on April 12, 2024. Students appearing for the examination must download their Admit Cards by using their registration number and date of birth. JEE Main Session 2 exams will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm, while the second shift will held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Candidates are advised to carry their JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Admit Card along with valid identity proof to the examination centre. According to the exam pattern shared by the National Testing Agency, the Question Paper will be divided into two sections, Section A will consist of multiple-choice questions while Section B will contain questions with numeric values. Students must keep in mind that there will be negative markings in both of the sections.

JEE Main 2024 Session 2: Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates can check the JEE Main Session 2 exam day guidelines below.

  • Aspirants must reach the examination centre 30 minutes prior to the reporting time mentioned in the JEE Main Admit Card.
  • Students are required to carry their Admit Cards to the examination centre.
  • Electronic Devices like Mobile Phones and Smart Watches are strictly prohibited.
  • A seat indicating the candidate's Roll Number will be allotted to each student. Candidates should find and sit in their allocated seats only.
  • Caps, mufflers and hats are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Candidates are advised to read the instructions mentioned on the Admit Card carefully and strictly follow them during the examination. 
  • Students must carry one passport-size photograph along with a valid Photo ID proof.
  • Candidates should not wear any jewellery and must not wear clothes with metal buttons and zippers.
  •  Student must ensure that the Question Paper available on the computer is as per his/her opted subject indicated in the Admit Card.
  • Aspirants must not forget to carry a blue or a black ballpoint pen.
