Here are things that will be different next year
Multiple sessions
- JEE (Main)-2021 will be conducted in Four Sessions- February, March, April, and May. According to the NTA, will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in one attempt. An official statement says that in the first attempt, the students will get a firsthand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the next time.
- A candidate need not appear in all four Sessions. However, if the candidate appears in more than one Session then his/her best of the 2021 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.
- This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year.
- However, Paper 2 exams for admission to BArch and BPlanning will continue to be held only in two attempts.
- Candidates can apply for one or even more sessions in a single form.
