JEE Advanced 2023 Exam Date Released, Registration From April 30 at jeeadv.ac.in

JEE Advanced 2023: Paper 1 of Joint Entrance Examination Advanced will be from 9 am to 12 pm and paper 2 will be from 2:30 pm to 5:50 pm.

Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has released the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced or JEE Advanced 2023 exam dates. JEE Advanced dates have been released on the official website at jeeadv.ac.in. As per the notification released by IIT Guwahati, JEE Advanced 2023 examination will be held on June 4, 2023. The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Appearing in both papers is compulsory.  It may be noted that the examination date will remain unchanged even if it is declared a public holiday.

Paper 1 of JEE Advanced will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:50 pm. Registration for the examination will begin on April 30, 2023, and the last date to fill up the application form is May 4, 2023. The last date for fee payment for registered candidates is till May 5, 2023. JEE Advanced 2023 Results and final answer key will be published on June 18 at 10 am.

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligibility Criteria: 

Indian nationals who wish to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2023 are required to write the JEE (Main) 2023 paper for admission to B.E./B.Tech. programs conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Foreign nationals who have studied or are studying in India/abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent and wish to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2023 are NOT required to write the JEE (Main) 2023.

For Indian nationals, Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2023. 

Age Limit:
Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998.

Number Of Attempts:
Candidate can attempt for JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

Appearance In Class XII Exam:
A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2022 or 2023 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates who had appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2021 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2023, irrespective of the combination of subjects attempted/offered.

Earlier Admission At IITs:

A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past. Candidates whose admission to IITs was canceled (for whatever reason) after joining any IIT are also NOT eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2023. Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2022 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2023. 

Registration Fee for JEE (Advanced) 2023:

Candidates who wish to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2023 must pay the registration fee, as mentioned below:

Indian Nationals:
Female Candidates (all categories)- ₹ 1450
SC, ST, and PwD Candidates- ₹ 1450
All Other Candidates- ₹ 2900

Foreign Nationals:
Candidates Residing in SAARC Countries- USD 90
Candidates Residing in Non-SAARC Countries- USD 180
