India Post Recruitment GDS 2022: Last Date To Apply For Garmin Dak Sevaks - Check Eligibility Criteria

The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and the maximum age of the candidates should be 40 years to apply for India Post GDS posts.

New Delhi: The application process for the India Post positions of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) as Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM), and Dak Sevak will end on June 5. Interested candidates apply today via the official website of India Post - indiapostggds.gov.in. There are over 38,000 posts to apply for. The application process began about a month ago on May 2.

Candidates must read the eligibility criteria for the posts. They should have the Secondary School Examination pass certificate of Class 10 with passing marks in Mathematics, the local language, and English for any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India or State/UTs of India. 

"The candidate should have studied the local language i.e. (Name of Local language) at least up to the 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects]," stated the India Post in the official notification.

The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and the maximum age of the candidates should be 40 years. To apply candidates have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee which is exempted for the SC/ST candidates. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit position and the preference of posts submitted.

  • Visit the official website at - indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
  • On the homepage, click on the 'Registration' tab.
  • You'll be redirected to a new window, fill in the details and upload all the required documents.
  • Pay the application fee and submit your application form.
  • Download your application form and take a print out for future reference.
