Here is an alert for those who are keen on enrolling in a teaching course and management programmes! The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened the application window for OPENMAT and BEd entrance test. It is to be noted that examination forms will be accepted online.

What’s the last date?

Remember, the application window open for the registration to the entrance tests will be opened till March 20, 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the IGNOU website for the OPENMAT and BEd entrance tests for the January 2021 session.

What’s the eligibility?

OPENMAT Eligibility

In order to apply for MBA, graduates with 50 per cent marks for General category and 45 per cent for reserved category will be eligible to apply.  Graduates in Chartered Accountancy/ Cost Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship will also be eligibile.

BEd Eligibility

The IGNOU entrance test for admission to BEd programmes can be taken by graduates with at least 50 per cent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity.

The minimum duration of both the program is two years. However, the maximum period allowed for completion of the program is five years.

For detailed schedule,  the  students  are  advised  to  visit  the  University  website  from  time  to  time. Cadidates can download Admit Card  10 Days before the exam. The BEd exams will be conducted on April 11, 2021, as per the official notice. It is important to fulfill the minimum eligibility at the time of submitting the application form for the entrance test. How to apply

Firstly, visit ignou.ac.in

Then you need to click on ‘OPENMAT, BEd admissions’ link that is falshing under the ‘alert’ section

This will take you to a new page, where you need to click on the registration link of the course you wish to apply for

On the new page just click on apply

Fill in the details for registration

Then fill forms and upload documents

In the last step pay the fee and click submit
