IGNOU Admission 2024: January Session Last Date Extended Till February 15

IGNOU Admission 2024: Interested candidates can apply online at ignou.ac.in.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for fresh admissions for the January 2024 session to February 15. Eligible students who have not yet applied can complete the IGNOU application process for 2024 on the official website, ignou.ac.in. Previously, the deadline for applications was January 31. “The extension of the last date for “fresh admission offered in ODL/Online Mode for the January, 2024 session” for all programmes till 15th February, 2024,” said IGNOU in an X post.

For the convenience of applicants, the university has separate links for admission to online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes. For fresh admissions to ODL programmes, students must register at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, while candidates seeking admission to online courses should apply at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

IGNOU Admissions: How To Register Online

  • Visit the official IGNOU website - ignou.ac.in
  • On the homepage, click on the admission link.
  • Login to the portal and fill in the application form with all required details.
  • Pay the application fee online and submit the application form.
  • Download the application confirmation for future reference.

Instructions for Registration:

  1. Provide accurate email ID and mobile number.
  2. Carefully select courses after reviewing program details.
  3. Exercise caution while making fee payments.
  4. Avoid waiting until the last submission date.
  5. Payment options include credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Documents Required for IGNOU Registration 2024:

  1. Scanned photograph (less than 100 KB).
  2. Scanned signature (less than 100 KB).
  3. Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB).
  4. Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB).
  5. Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB).
