ICSI CSEET 2021: Opt-Out Facility Available Until May 3, Exam To Be Held In Online Mode

ICSI CSEET 2021: The institute will conduct the ICSI CSEET 2021 exam on May 8, 2021, in a remoter-proctored mode. A notice regarding this has been uploaded on the institute's official website.

ICSI CSEET 2021: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) on Tuesday provided an opt-out facility for candidates who do not wish to appear for the Company Secretaries Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) May exam amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The institute will conduct the ICSI CSEET 2021 exam on May 8, 2021, in a remoter-proctored mode. A notice regarding this has been uploaded on the institute's official website. The institute has laid down the provisions under which the candidate's examination fee can be carried forward to the July exam.

"In view of continuing health crisis in the country due to spread of Covid-19 Pandemic, Institute has decided to conduct CSEET to be held on 8th May 2021 through remote proctored mode only, instead of conducting the same
from Test Centers. Candidates are allowed to appear for the test through their laptop/ desktop from home/ such other convenient place," reads the official notice

The following are the circumstances in which the candidate's fee will be carried forward to the July session exam:

  1. If the candidates do not have Desktop/laptop/webcams at desktops or other technical requirements / Internet-related issues.
  2. Candidates residing in the containment zones/Red Zones and do not have access to cyber cafés.
  3. Candidates who are far from their home and do not have access to the basic requirements to appear in the ICSI CSEET May exam. 

"Candidates willing to avail this benefit, shall be required to submit a declaration in the prescribed format at https://tinyurl.com/9w6tds latest by 3rd May, 2021," further reads the notice.
