The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially declared the results for the CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation examinations held in May 2025. Aspiring Chartered Accountants can now check their scores by visiting the official ICAI website at icai.nic.in.

This much-anticipated announcement marks a crucial moment for thousands of candidates across the country, eager to learn the outcome of their hard work.

CA Final Exam 2025: Key Highlights

This year, a total of 66,943 candidates appeared for Group I of the CA Final exam. Out of them, 14,979 students passed, registering a pass percentage of 22.38%. In Group II, 46,173 students took the exam, and 12,204 succeeded — a slightly higher pass rate of 26.43%.

Meanwhile, 29,286 candidates attempted both groups together, with 5,490 of them managing to clear the exam — a combined pass rate of 18.75%.

Overall, 14,247 candidates earned the Chartered Accountant designation in this cycle, marking a significant milestone in their professional journey.

CA Intermediate Exam 2025: Group-Wise Performance

In Group I of the Intermediate exams, 97,034 students appeared, and 14,232 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 14.67%. Group II saw better results: 72,069 candidates took the exam, and 15,502 cleared it, recording a pass percentage of 21.51%.

For those attempting both groups together, 38,029 candidates appeared and 5,028 passed, with a pass rate of 13.22%.

Missed the Cut? Here’s What’s Next

Candidates who didn’t clear the May exams have another opportunity ahead. Registrations for the September 2025 exams are already open, starting July 5 and closing on July 18.

The CA Final September 2025 exam schedule is as follows:

• Group I: September 3, 6, and 8
• Group II: September 10, 12, and 14

What Does “Passing with Distinction” Mean?
