ICAI CA Final Result 2021: The siblings have aced the CA final exam, with 19-year-old Nandini Agrawal from Morena district securing the top rank.
ICAI CA Final Result 2021: ICAI has released the results of CA Final and Foundation (July) 2021. Out of 83,606 candidates registered for the Final Examination (New Course) of Chartered Accountants, 19-year-old Nandini Agarwal of Morena topped the list with 614/800 marks, while her 21-year-old brother Sachin Agarwal has also secured All India Rank (AIR) 18.

After the brother-sister duo successfully cleared the exam, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, BJP state president VD Sharma, along with Congress leader Chaudhary Rakesh Singh and Ashok Singh tweeted congratulatory wishes. Their family is celebrating their exceptional success at the moment.
Sachin and Nandini, students of Victor Convent School in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, passed class 12 in 2017. Nandini skipped two classes as a child and studied in the same grade as her elder brother since class 2.
On her success, Nandini says, "My brother and I have been studying together since school. We also prepared for IPCC and CA final together. Our strategy has been simple — we support each other but we critique even more. When we solve a question paper, he checks my answers and I check his. There have been moments when I was losing hope but my brother’s support got me on track." Nandini is also currently pursuing her articleship from PwC. She had also got an AIR 31 in the IPCC exam.
When the epidemic hampered the preparation of most candidates, the siblings studied day and night. It also gave them a lot of time to study and revise subjects.
Sachin says, "There were times when we fought like crazy but that only lasted for some time and we got back to normal. I would have been happy with even 70 per cent marks as I did not have high expectations but I knew that Nandini will do great. She’s brilliant and deserves all the success. In many ways, she is my mentor." Sachin is pursuing his articleship from Gurugram-based firm, One Point Advisors.
Their father, Naresh Chandra Gupta is a tax practitioner while their mother Dimple Gupta is a housewife. Nandini and Sachin both advise aspirants to follow the ICAI study material for acing the exam as “it has worked really well for them”.
