Haryana School Timings Revised For Winter Session 2022: Check Details Here

The Haryana government has changed the school timings for winter session 2022. The revised Haryana school timings will come into effect from December 1, 2022.

The government of Haryana has revised the school timings in the state for winter session 2022. As per the new Haryana School Timings, schools with single shifts will now operate from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Schools in the state with two shifts will now operate their first shift from 7:55 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift from 12:40 PM to 05:15 PM. 

The Directorate Of School Education, Haryana, in its recent notice has announced that the new Haryana School Timings shall come into force from December 1, 2022. The Directorate of Information, Public Relations and Language Department took to twitter to notify the announcement.

The DIPR Haryana in its tweet stated, “The Haryana Government has changed the timings for schools from December 01. The timing of single shift schools will be 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM. On the other hand, in double shift schools, the timing of the first shift will be from 07:55 AM to 12:40 PM and the second swift will be from 12:45 PM to 05:15 PM.”

Amidst the change in Haryana school timings for winter session 2022, Haryana education minister Kanwar Pal has said that Haryana will open 238 PM-SHRI schools across all blocks of the state. “ The Haryana government will open 238 PM-SHRI schools in all blocks of the state. The state government will spend around 1 crore rupees for the renovation of each such school besides ensuring the appointment of excellent teachers in these schools,” he said while presiding over a meeting of senior officials of the Education department here on Tuesday.

He further stated that the state will purchase 1.41 lakh double desks and deliver them to schools in 26 blocks in all 22 districts of the state. “An amount of Rs 95 crore will be spent on this. These desks will be delivered to the respective schools in the first phase by January 31, 2023,” he said.
