GATE 2024 Application Correction Process Begins On gate2024.iisc.ac.in - Check Details

Registered candidates will be able to make changes to their GATE 2024 applications till November 11, 2023.

The Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISC Bangalore) has started the application correction facility for GATE 2024 Applications. Candidates who wish to make changes/ update their information in their GATE 2024 Applications forms, by logging into the official portal - gate2024.iisc.ac.in. However, candidates must note that they will be required to pay a fee of Rs 500, to make changes to their GATE 2024 Applications. 

Moreover, candidates will only be allowed to edit/update their name, date of birth, examination city, paper category and gender. Candidates may also note that to change their gender from female to any other category, or change their category from SC, ST to others, they will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1,400. The GATE 2024 application correction window shall remain open till November 11, 2023.

Earlier, the IISC Bangalore invited online applications from eligible candidates from August 31 to October 20, 2023. As per the official schedule, the GATE 2024 Exam will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Registered candidates will be able to download their GATE 2024 Admit Cards from January 3, 2024 onwards. The admit cards shall be available to candidates through candidate login on the official GATE 2024 website. 

While the previous year’s GATE Exam Eligibility also included ‘Commerce’ subject, the same has been removed this year. Moreover, the GATE 2024 Exam will be conducted in centres in India only. International and NRI candidates were required to select a suitable exam centre in India while registering for the GATE 2024 Exam.

Every year, the GATE Exam is conducted for admissions into various Postgraduate courses and engineering jobs in IITs, government-supported institutions and agencies. For more details on the GATE 2024 Exam, candidates are advised to visit the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
