GATE 2022: Registration Deadline For GATE 2022 Extended Till Sept 30, Check Details

GATE 2022 Application: The registration deadline for GATE 2022 has been extended. Students can now apply online by visiting the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in, till September 30.

GATE 2022 Application: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has extended the deadline for applying for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022. The last date for registration for the first gate 2022 was Tuesday, September 28. Now candidates can submit the application form by visiting the official website, gate.iitkgp.ac.in, without a late fee for the graduate aptitude test in engineering 2022 by Thursday 30th September.

A statement issued on the official website said, "The application deadline has been extended till September 30, 2021 (Thursday) without any additional charges." Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) will conduct the GATE 2022 examination on 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th February 2022 and the results will be declared on 17th March.

Registration for GATE 2022

  1. Visit the GATE 2022's official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
  2. Click the 'Apply Online' tab on the homepage.
  3. Register yourself.
  4. Enter all necessary details and fill the application form.
  5. Upload photographs and all relevant documents.
  6. Pay application fee
  7. Keep a hard copy with you for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students who want to apply for GATE 2022 should currently be studying in the third year or higher years of any undergraduate degree program. Students who have already completed a degree course approved by the government in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce or arts can also apply for the exam.

GATE 2022 Exam Pattern

GATE 2022 exam will be conducted for a period of three hours and will include multiple-choice (MCQ) based questions and multiple select questions (MSQ) or numerical answer type (NAT) questions. The paper will be of a total of 100 marks.
