Federal Bank Announces Scholarships: Full Tuition Coverage For MBBS, Engineering, MBA & More

Federal Bank has invited applications for the Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarships for 2024-25, offering up to 100% tuition reimbursement for eligible students in various courses.

The Federal Bank has announced the applications for the Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarships for the academic year 2024-25. Established in memory of Founder, Late Shri K P Hormis, this scholarship programme aims to support students pursuing higher education across various disciplines.

These scholarships are available to students who have been admitted to the first year of the following courses: MBBS, BE/BTech, BSc Nursing, full-time MBA, and BSc Agriculture/BSc (Hons) in Co-operation & Banking.

Students from Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. Applicants must have gained admission through merit at Government/Aided/Government Recognised Self-financing/Autonomous colleges. Additionally, dependent children of martyred armed forces personnel and students with speech, vision, or hearing impairments are encouraged to submit their applications.

Eligible candidates can apply via the Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship Portal. The application process requires the submission of several documents, including admission letters, course fee structures, mark sheets, and family income certificates. The deadline for submitting online applications is December 18, 2024.

Scholarship benefits include up to 100% reimbursement of tuition fees and other educational expenses, capped at Rs 1 Lakh per year. Furthermore, students may receive reimbursement for one PC, laptop, or tablet during their course of study.

Applicants will be shortlisted based on their marks in the qualifying examination and their income criteria. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for an interview for document verification. The final list of eligible candidates will be published on the Bank’s website.

Ashoka University Announces Scholarships For All Young India Fellows

Ashoka University has announced that all Fellows in the upcoming 2025-26 cohort of the Young India Fellowship (YIF), its flagship postgraduate programme, will receive scholarships, either partial or full. These scholarships will range from a 25% waiver on tuition to a complete waiver covering tuition, residence, meals, and a stipend for financial support. Additionally, the Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship will continue to be awarded to the Class of 2026, as stated on the official website.
