DU Admission 2021: Details Of Admission Process For UG-PG Courses At Delhi University This Year

DU Admission 2021: Dates for UG- PG registration at Delhi University have been announced. An admission portal will be launched soon to make the admission process at DU hassle-free.

DU Admission 2021: Delhi University or DU has announced the registration dates for admission to undergraduate and post-graduate courses. The registration process for undergraduate merit-based programs will be carried out from August 2 till August 31. The registration for postgraduate courses, Delhi University Entrance Examination (DUET), Ph.D. programs, and MPhil programs is scheduled from July 26 to August 21.

Du Admission Portal Will Also Be Launched
The Delhi University announced the registration dates for UG and PG courses and declared that an admission portal will be launched soon to make the admission process at DU hassle-free. DU says that this portal will allow students to fill admission forms, pay fees and check details without any hassle, conveniently from home.

DU Admission 2021- 10 points

  • There are 65,000 UG seats, and 20,000 PG eats at the university.
  •  Admission to undergraduate courses will be based on merit, just like last year. There will be no change in the eligibility criteria of the candidates.
  • The university will release the first cut-off list between September 7 and 10. The admission process is likely to be completed in September.
  • Centralized admission to UG courses will be done through a registration cum application form. All departments and colleges would use the same form. For PG courses, students are required to fill a single registration form, but if they are opting for more than one program, they will have to pay a separate fee.
  • Delhi University courses for which the entrance test will be conducted have been increased from 9 to 13 this year. The 4 new courses for which admissions will take place this year are Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Master of Physiotherapy.
  •  DUET 2021 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for all PG courses, selected undergraduate courses, MPhil, and Ph.D. programs. Dates for this will be announced soon.
  •  Non-NET candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. and MPhil programs will have to appear for DUET 2021.
  •  The college can admit up to 5 percent of students from the extracurricular activities (ECA) and sports quota of its total intake limit
  • The admission process will be completely online this year, just like last year.
  • There will be no change in the registration fee for merit-based and entrance-based admission.
