DRDO aims to engage the selected Apprentices at the Combat Vehicle Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Chennai. The application process is underway on the official website of RAC and interested candidates must submit their online application on or before 31^st December 2018, 5pm. Vacancy Details: Total Posts - 127 Carpenter - 2 Posts COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) - 25 Posts Draughtsman (Mechanical) - 8 Posts Electrician - 22 Posts Electronics - 3 Posts Fitter - 35 Posts Machinist - 12 Posts Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) - 8 Posts Turner - 6 Posts Welder - 6 Posts Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualifications: Ex-ITI applicants must have passed out from an institute recognized by NCVT duly covered through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and should possess minimum two years period except for the Computer Operator, Programming Assistant (COPA) and Welder trade. COPA and welder applicants must be holding a 1 year ITI certificate recognized by NCVT. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance during the interview. Pay Scale: For Carpenter, COPA, & Welder posts, the selected candidates will be eligible to receive a salary of Rs. 10,739 per month; while for other posts, the candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 11,552 per month.
