The varsity has directed both teaching and non-teaching staff of colleges affiliated to the varsity to get both doses of covid-19 vaccination at the earliest. The varsity further advised the students who wish to attend the physical classes to get at least one dose of the vaccination. However, for the hostel residents, both doses of the vaccination are essential but it should be ensured that they have at least one dose of covid-19 vaccination.
The libraries in the varsity will be reopened from September 6, 2021, onwards. However, if the library is not able to ensure the seating arrangements as per the SOPs, they may at least allow issuing of the books to the students on a regular basis.
The varsity will resume the lab/practical classes for the students of UG/PG courses from September 15, 2021, with a 50% of the working capacity.
