DU Admissions 2020: Not Much Respite For Students As Cut-Off In 2nd List Remain 99.5% Or Above; Seats Available In SRCC, LSR
DU Admissions 2020: The DU aspirants must note that the admissions under the second list will begin from 10 AM onwards on Monday, October 19th. Owing to the Coronavirus pandemic, the the admission process this year is going to be held completely online.
The Delhi University on Saturday released its second cut-off list as per which, the admissions for several courses have been closed while some programmes are open at the same cut-off as the first list. Going by the figures in the second cut off list, colleges like Hansraja nd SRCC still have seats left for the admission for Economics and commerce programmes. Highly reputed LSR college also has almost all the courses open as of now.
Students seeking admission in BA (Hons) Economics need minimum 98.75% as per the second cut-off list while programmes such as BA (Hons) English, BA (Hons) Hindi, BA (Hons) History, BA (Hons) Political Science have been closed. BA (Hons) Philosophy programme is open with the same cut-off as the first list i.e, 97% while the requirement for admission for Bsc (Hons) Statistics has dropped from 99.25 to 97.75.

The first cut-off list was released last Saturday with almost 50 per cent of the seats being filled. The first DU cutoff list for the year was released for six undergraduate courses - the highest is 96.5% for applicants of B.A. (Hons.) English, B.A. (Hons.) Economics, and B.Com (Hons.).
This is followed by 92.5% in B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science (With PCM) and 92% in B.A. (Hons) History. The varsity has 70,000 undergraduate seats.
