CUET UG Exam Analysis 2024: The CUET UG Exam was conducted on May 18 for History and Political Science in a single shift.

History: 01:30 PM – 02:15 PM (Shift 1A)

The CUET History paper presented a generally manageable level of difficulty, spanning from easy to moderate. The bulk of inquiries revolved around factual information, encompassing details such as specific years, literary works and their authors, names of notable figures, and related historical events. All questions rigorously adhered to the NCERT syllabus. Noteworthy features of the paper included two comprehension passages, each followed by five associated questions.

The question formats varied, comprising single-correct-answer questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, choose-the-correct-statement questions, and match-the-columns questions.

Political Science: 03:30 PM – 04:15 PM (Shift 1B)

The CUET Political Science paper exhibited a general level of difficulty, spanning from easy to moderate. Predominantly, the questions focused on factual knowledge, covering aspects such as specific years, names of influential personalities, organisational structures, and the full forms of certain abbreviations. All questions remained firmly grounded within the NCERT syllabus.

Question types included single-correct-answer questions, with the majority falling under this category, alongside three fill-in-the-blank questions, three match-the-columns questions, and one statement-based question. Additionally, the paper featured one comprehension passage, followed by five associated questions, as well as an image accompanied by another set of five questions.
