CMAT 2024: Registration Process Expected To Begin Soon On cmat.nta.ac.in - Check Details

Once the CMAT 2024 registrations begin, candidates will be able to submit their applications online on the official website - cmat.nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start the registration process for the CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) soon. Once the portal opens, interested and eligible candidates will be able to submit their CMAT 2024 registration cum application forms from the official website - cmat.nta.ac.in. While the NTA is yet to make an official announcement on the same, considering the timeline of management entrance exams every year, and the CMAT exam in general, the CMAT 2024 application process should likely be around the corner. 

Along with the registration process, the NTA will also release the complete CMAT 2024 Brochure with CMAT 2024 Exam Dates, Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Marking Scheme, Eligibility, updated list of participating institutions and others. Candidates are advised to carefully read the information brochure before registering for the CMAT 2024 Exam. 

CMAT 2024: Eligibility And Registration Fee

Candidates who have completed their graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university or those who are appearing for their final year exams shall be eligible to apply for the CMAT Exam. For CMAT 2023, the registration fee for General category candidates was Rs 2,000, while General category females candidates as well as those from the reserved categories were required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000. The registration cum application fee for CMAT 2024 Exam is also likely to be similar to that of its previous iteration.

Held every year, the CMAT is a popular management entrance exam. Several higher education institutes across the country offering postgraduate management programmes use CMAT Scores to offer qualified candidates into their courses. Last year, teh CMAT 2023 Exam was held on May 4, 2023. The CMAT 2023 Exam was held on the online CBT Computer Based Test) mode and the exam mode is likely to remain unchanged from last year. 

CMAT 2024: Exam Format

Generally, the CMAT Exam paper consists of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 400 marks. The questions are spread across various sections which include: Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension & Verbal Ability, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Each section consists of 20 questions, and every question carries 4 marks. However, incorrect responses also attract a penalty of -1 mark.
