CLAT 2025 Registration Begins On July 15, Check Exam Pattern And Other Details

CLAT 2025 Registration: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) have released a short notice regarding CLAT 2025 Registration. According to the official notice, CLAT 2025 registration will begin from July 15, 2024. The last date to participate in this registration process is October 15, 2024. CLAT 2025 examination is scheduled for December 1, 2024. Candidates are advised to apply for the CLAT 2025 examination before the deadline.

CLAT examination is a gateway for candidates to get into law schools in India. It is for candidates who want to do a 5-year integrated LLB (undergraduate law) or a one-year LLM (postgraduate law) course. This exam helps students get into 24 NLUs for undergraduate law courses and 21 NLUs for postgraduate law courses. In addition to these NLUs, 61 private colleges also accept CLAT scores for admissions.

CLAT 2025 Registration: Steps To Apply 

Candidates can follow the below-given steps to participate in the CLAT 2025 registration process:

Step 1: Visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the link that reads 'CLAT 2025 Registration Link'.

Step 3: Click on that link.

Step 4: Enter the required details and fill out the application form.

Step 5: Click on 'Save'.

Step 6: Upload the required documents and pay the necessary application fee.

Step 7: Click on 'Submit'.

Step 8: Download the confirmation page for your future reference.

CLAT 2025: Eligibility Criteria

CLAT UG 2025: To apply for the law entrance exam, candidates need to have passed class 12th with at least 45% marks. However, students from SC, ST, and PwD categories only need to have 40% marks in their class 12th exams to be eligible.

CLAT PG 2025: Candidates belonging to the general category must have passed LLB with a minimum of 50% marks, while SC, ST, and PwD category candidates must have cleared graduation with 45% marks.

  • Legal Reasoning (20%)
  • Logical Reasoning (20%)
  • Quantitative Techniques (10%)
  • Current Affairs and General Knowledge (25%)
