Watch: Chhattisgarh Govt Organises Helicopter Rides For Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2023 Toppers

The Chhattisgarh government organised helicopter rides for the toppers of Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2023.

In a special initiative to acknowledge the achievements of the top-performing students in the 10th and 12th exams, the Chattisgarh government organised helicopter rides for toppers in the state. A total of 88 children, who secured exceptional results, had the opportunity to enjoy the helicopter ride as a recognition of their academic excellence. This initiative aimed to celebrate their hard work and dedication, providing them with a memorable and unique experience.  School Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam flagged off the helicopter this year.

"Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel had promised the children that if they come among the top 10 in 10th and 12th exams, they will get to ride in a helicopter," State Minister Dr. Premsai Singh said.

Notably, The Chhatisgarh Board of Secondary Education announced the CGBSE 10th, 12th Result 2023 on May 10. CGBSE board recorded an overall pass percentage of 75.05 percent in Class 10 and 79.96 percent in Class 12. Rahul Yadav topped the high school exams while Vidhi Bhonsle emerged as the Class 12 topper. The performance of girls surpassed that of boys in both Class 10 and Class 12 exams. In Class 10, 79.16 percent of girls passed the exams, while 75.26 percent of boys passed. Similarly, in Class 12, 83.64 percent of girls passed, while boys secured a pass percentage of 75.86 percent.

The Chhattisgarh Board conducted the Class 10 board exams from March 2 to March 24. For Class 12 or Higher Secondary exams, the exams were held from March 1 to March 31.
