CBSE CTET 2021: Application Process To Begin On Monday, Know Important Dates & How To Apply

CTET Notification 2021: Candidates who have done B.Ed and DELED can apply online for CTET till October 19, 2021.

CTET 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021. The process of online application for CTET will start on September 20, 2021. CBSE will conduct CTET in computer based test (CBT) mode at various centres across the country. This exam will be conducted in 20 languages across the country.

As per the notification, candidates who have done B. Ed, D.El.Ed and B.El.Ed can apply online for primary and secondary stage of CTET by 19th October, 2021.

Important dates related to CTET 
Online Application Start Date - September 20, 2021
Last Date of Application - October 19, 2021
Last Date for Submission of Application Fee - October 20, 2021
Date of Computer Based Examination - December 16, 2021 to January 13, 2022

Required educational qualifications 
Candidates applying for primary stage (classes 1 to 5) of CTET should have a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), or Diploma/Degree in B.Ed (B.Ed) with 50% marks.

Candidates applying for secondary stage (classes 6 to 8) of CTET should have B.ED or any diploma/degree equivalent to it with 50% marks. Candidates can see official notifications to know more.

Application Fee:
The application fee for general and OBC category applicants applying for any one stage (primary or secondary) is Rs. 700. In addition, the fee for SCs, STs, and Divyang is Rs. 350. If one wants to apply for both the stages (primary and secondary), the application fee for general and OBC categories is Rs 1200 and for SC, ST and Divyang is Rs 600. The fee can be deposited online.

Candidates applying for CTET will have to visit the official website of CTET https://ctet.nic.in. Here candidates will find a notification for CTET on the home page, which can be download. All candidates need to read it properly. Candidates will get the entire process of application, necessary documents, and other information. The link to the application will be activated on the website on Monday.
