CBSE CTET 2020 Exam Date Announced; Check Important Dates

The Central Board of Education (CBSE) on Thursday announced that the 14th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is scheduled to be held on July 2020 on July 5 in 112 cities all across the country.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Education (CBSE) on Thursday announced that the 14th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is scheduled to be held on July 2020 on July 5 in 112 cities all across the country. The test will be held in 20 languages Online application process for CTET July 2020 examination will begin tomorrow i.e. on January 24 and conclude on February 24, 2020. Candidates who apply for the exam will be allowed to pay for the application fee till February 27, 2020. The application can be filled online by visiting the official website - ctet.nic.in. A total of 24,05,145 teachers took the exam and 5,42,285 of them or 22.55 per cent qualified in the last exam held  in December 2019. The result for CTET December 2019 was released on December 28, 2019. CBSE CTET 2020: How to apply Step 1: Visit the official website - www.ctet.nic.in Step 2: Click on the “Apply Online” link and open the same Step 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No/Application No Step 4: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature Step 5: Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card and net banking Step 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference About CTET Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination will be conducted to appoint eligible candidates for the posts of teachers for Class I to VIII. The examination scores shall be applied to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of Union Territories of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.
