The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow will conduct the CAT 2023 (Common Admission Test) for entry into their management programs tomorrow, November 25, 2023. To participate, candidates must download their CAT admit card from iimcat.ac.in and bring it to the exam center. The test will be held across 155 cities in three shifts, each lasting 2 hours. Students are advised to arrive early at the exam center to avoid any last-minute issues. CAT scores play a crucial role in the MBA admission process for IIMs, with varying cut-off percentiles for different institutes. Meeting the minimum cut-off is essential for further selection stages, including the Written Ability Test (WAT), group discussions (GD), and interviews. Academic performance and work experience are also considered in the selection process.

CAT 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

• Arrive punctually at the examination center, ideally 1.5 hours before the start, to complete necessary formalities.
• Bring your CAT 2023 admit card; it's essential for entry. Obtain it from your CAT portal, affix a photo, and carry a printed copy. A government ID is also required for verification.
• Carry a valid government ID—Aadhar card, passport, driver's license, Voter ID, or PAN card—alongside the admit card.
• Avoid bringing unnecessary items like phones, watches, calculators, cameras, or Bluetooth devices. The exam authorities won't be responsible for personal belongings.
• Adhere to the dress code: No caps, jackets, closed-toed shoes, or metal jewelry. Pullovers, sweaters, no-pocket cardigans are acceptable.
