The University of Calcutta will close the registration window for postgraduate (PG) admissions for the year 2023 today. The university is scheduled to release the provisional merit list for Calcutta University PG admissions 2023 on October 1, with the first merit list being issued on October 3. Calcutta University has allocated 80% of the total seats in each program for students who have completed their bachelor's degrees from CU.

This includes both the current year (2023) and the immediately preceding year (2022) honours graduates of CU, which encompasses autonomous colleges affiliated with CU. The remaining 20% of seats in each program will be open for honours graduates from other universities.
