Pondicherry University Admissions 2023: Application Deadline For PG, PG Diploma Programmes Extended - See Details

CUET-PG 2023 qualified candidates can apply for PG Degree and PG Diploma programmes at the Pondicherry University till August 10, 2023.

The Pondicherry University has extended the application deadline for submitting applications for its PG and Diploma programmes for the 2023 session. Candidates who wish to take admissions into various postgraduate and diploma programmes offered by the Pondicherry University can now apply for Pondicherry University Admissions 2023 till August 10, 2023. Applications are to be submitted in the online mode only on the official website - pondiuni.edu.in. 

Admissions to the postgraduate programmes of the Pondicherry University including the PG Diploma programme shall be done based on CUET-PG 2023 scores. Only those candidates who have appeared for the CUET-PG 2023 Exam can apply for Pondicherry University PG Admissions 2023. While applying for Pondicherry University Admissions 2023 though, candidates are advised to carefully go through the detailed eligibility criteria of the programme they wish to apply for. 

The postgraduate degree programmes offered by the Pondicherry university for the 2023-24 academic session include M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, M.Tech, MBA, M.Lib.I.Sc. (Master of Library and Information Science), M.Ed, M.P.Ed, MSW (Master of Social Work), MPA (Theatre Arts), and LLM (2 Years). The central university is also offering a Post Graduate Diploma in  Criminology & Forensic Science / Intellectual Property Rights. 

At the time of submitting applications for Pondicherry University PG Admissions 2023, Unreserved, OBC-NCL, and EWS category candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 250 for a single course. Candidates from the SC, ST categories will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 150 per course. For every additional programme opted though, UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS category candidates will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 100 per course, while SC, ST category candidates will have to pay Rs 50 per additional programme. However, PwD and Transgender category candidates are exempted from paying any application fee, irrespective of the number of programmes they opt for.

Pondicherry University Admissions 2023: Steps To Apply

  • Visit the official website - pondiuni.edu.in
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘Admission’ tab
  • Next, click on ‘Apply Online’ button next to PG and PG Diploma Admissions
  • Register as a new user 
  • Login using your system-generated credentials and password
  • Fill in the application form 
  • Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee online
  • Submit the application form
  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
